Montauk surfcasting is known for some of the harshest fishing environments on the east coast, along with some of the best surf fishing in the world. During the spring, summer, and fall months, people flock from all over to fish the famous Montauk Lighthouse, surf Ditch Plains, and experience a small quaint beach town at the easternmost tip of Long Island, New York.
