Anthony was raised out east learning to fish for snappers on the back bay as a child and falling in love with all types of sports fishing since. Spending much time on the water his entire life building wooden and steel boats, as a deckhand, sailing instructor or just for fun he has a sense for currents, movement of fish, and what it takes to GoDeeP. Swimming out to rocks in his wetsuit, running the beaches in his truck searching for bass, pin hooking and crabbing with local taggers or helping a buddy meet his quota he knows Montauk fishing and what it takes to withstand one of the roughest fishing environments on the east coast. Most people know Anthony because of his pitbulls chasing his truck down the sand or barking loudly as he walks into the water to dehook a shark, his adventurous, kind and creative nature has been a big part in his conservation efforts and shark handling knowledge. Safe Release For Sharks And Striped Bass Are Two Very Important Things To Anthony And The Longevity Of Our Ocean Life As A Whole.
Leading Up To GoDeeP MTK
Anthony was run over by a car at 30 years old as an iron worker, after multiple level fusions and hardware installed in his spine he was unable to go back to work or work a popper like he used to, let alone reach the bass off the bar, this led to the first design of the Bar Breaker Classic. This design started to quickly change the game of how to walk the dog with your lure. Less work more action. The design of GoDeeP MTK LLC is based in recreating the design of fishing lures mixing and matching conceptual ideas and adding in our own to correct flaws in movement, starting from scratch and using in-house current pools and simple calculations we were able to design the first release lure The Bar Breaker.
Next Big Thing
Although The Bar Breaker Classic Is A great Lure To Entice Those Big Bass We Started From Scratch And Spent A Year Going Through Multiple prototypes For Actions, Finally In 2024 its here, Bar Breaker TE, In A Class Of Its Own, Redesigning the Bar Breaker From Scratch We Implemented Drag and Roll Technology Along With Completely New Measurements Bringing An Already Great Lure To A New Level And Become Even Better For Striped Bass. Although For Bluefish Smaller Mahi And Blackfin Tuna We Still Recommend The Bar Breaker Classic The TE Will Work on Them As Well But The Action Is Striped Bass Driven.
